2011 ‘Rockin’ All’ways’ in Barcelona

A 2011 video entitled ‘Rockin’ All’ways’ looking at Catalan rock’n’rollers and their scene in Barcelona.

Bumf “The Rockabilly Scene of Barcelona has recently clashed with a wave of
customized crowds that are approaching its underground borders attracted
by its aesthetics. / Some old school members see the Custom Culture and the 1950s
revival with suspicion and they are digging up the unwritten rules to state what
it takes to become a rocker. To enter the scene is not tough but you might
not be accepted straight away, you have to demonstrate knowledge,
engagement and love for Rock’n’Roll.”

FBcomm from Peres Gras Solsona “Soon it will be 10 years since this fantastic documentary, in which you can see the Deejay´s Rock-Ola Jordi and Eddie-Cesc, but many other 50s Rock and Roll fans, such as Jordi, Diana, Olaf, Carles…. With this documentary the young Catalan, Carla Navarro, won an award in Catalonia, thanks to her many people outside the world of 50s R&R saw for the first time the true fans and lovers of the genre and their way of living all this, thanks for everything Carla ”

Eddie-Cesc is part of the Teds who went to the parties at Bar La Roseraie (L´Hay-Les Roses), as well as at the Belle-Épine shopping center, he also trailed and known some Teds Rebels from Vincennes (France), here you can see him in London with Zouzou and Eric, during a festival in August 1985, London, where they had been to see Marty Wilde, Screamin´Lord Sutch, Sleepy LaBeef, Jets, Flying Saucers etc… The other photo you can see Jean Luc, Sleepy LaBeff, Eddie and Sandy Ford, at that time it was normal to meet them in Belgium, Holland, England…. I still wonder where they got the money to go right and left every weekend, not everyone can say the same thing.
