I’ve got to admit, I’m not sure if this one’s justified. I just remember that this tv presenter always sported 50s style clothes and quiff.
This is him aged 16 at Uppingham, his boarding school in Rutlandshire in 1983.
You might remember him from the pop show ‘Naked City’ (1992-93) and the first series of ‘Moviewatch’ (1993) and but in 1997 he moved in to host ‘The Big Breakfast’. How could his cool survive that?
